Compare journal citation distributions beta

Compare the citation distributions of up to four journals using open citation data from the CrossRef API.

The time interval controls which publications are considered from the selected journals, but does not restrict when the citations occurred. For example, if you select 2015 and a two-year interval, then papers published in 2015 and 2016 are included, but all citations from any time after publication will be counted (i.e. the citing works could be published anytime from 2015 to present).

Please note that it could take up to several minutes for the results to be generated, especially if you are comparing journals with thousands of publications per year.

The hypotheses that the distributions are distinct are evaluated using pairwise Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests.

? Select the chart type: empirical cumulative distribution function (eCDF), inverse eCDF, or a normalized histogram
? Enter a positive integer to set a cutoff for the x-axis. If no number is entered, the range will be automatically set to show the full distributions.

? Plot the axis in log10 space.
? Remove all publications with zero citations from the dataset.
? If selected, a stepped line (eCDF & inverse eCDF) or squared bars (histogram) are shown. If unselected, a curve is drawn through the points.
